November 2024
What's new in the zoo (aka Penny's Kajabi-land).
- Kajabi is new - again lol.
- Winner of the challenge in the last newsletter.
- There's a new update tool coming for 3rd Party Templates (like my custom product themes and permission page templates)
- Suggestions for the Newsletter Product - quick video
- What I'm learning at the Dog Park that we can use in our Courses
- Some days I may want to call you a 'not nice word'
And more.... below. xx
Kajabi is new again.
Gosh what a fanfare that was - new logo and colors, and a new feel.
It doesn't really matter whether any of us like it not, and I'm staying out of this debate, as it really is irrelevant. In case you missed it - here's the lowdown...
Kajabi's had a makeover and it feels like it's given the Kajabi staff a boost, which is great.
I used to say getting a new hairstyle was as good as taking a holiday, and maybe that's what's happening here. A makeover to bring in new energy and new members?
Fingers crossed it sets them on a path of momentum, to not only create new features... but also fix existing bug bears.🙌
The only reason it slightly annoys me is because it means ALL of my training videos, screenshots, and templates now look out of date.
They're all showing last seasons hairstyle.😂
Oh Kajabi, we love you no matter how you look.

Speaking of updates....
All pages, product themes and website themes have now been updated with Kajabi's latest updated code.
Now, remember...
→ you have access to the latest updated versions in the learning hub for that product...
BUT, there's no need to update if you don't want to.
Nothing will break. The main changes that Kajabi made were to allow for 'in-line editing', but this doesn't affect your page or product theme in any way other than it being slightly easier for you to work in.
Plus they also added in their new branding, ie their logo and primary color red. So again, this doesn't impact you in any way.
You can simply use the newer updated version when you need to create a new page or course.
