Well.... I'm knee deep in building out the latest Kajabi page template. It's a cool shopping page template that we can use with Kajabi's cart and/or popup checkout page.
But I'd love to hear from you on what YOU think a digital (or product) based shopping page should have on it? What are the non-negotiables? What might be nice to have?

It will incorporate a mini filter and some more styling options for Pricing Cards... and possibly a carousel with images..... we could really have some fun with this one.
Can we grab some features from Shopify templates that would make sense for a page selling digital items? Like an overlay on hover or quick view options? Lots to think about.... 🤔

Let's talk about the Paywall Feature
Well, Kajabi threw this little surprise in didn't they!!!
My head is still spinning, and my fingers still playing code catchup with all of the new features. The paywall feature was a biggy though. Here's a quick walkthrough video on how it works and how to set it up.
And yes, it's now active in all of my custom product themes.

Let's talk about the Cart Feature
It's not long out of Beta, and it still needs a little work, but for simplicity - it works.
What I'd love to see ASAP:
- The ability to use it with Stripe (currently we can only use it with Kajabi Payments).
- The ability to have it work with Affiliate links (not sure how this might work, but Kajaib are working on it)
- The option for various methods to use Coupon Codes, ie Bulk buy - but automated -- so if the total goes over a certain price, it will automatically apply a discount. And it would be great if instead of being for the whole cart, we could choose a discount for a certain item in the cart.

💥Trigger warning - I will be talking about Spiders, and there are images too!💥
It’s 5am, it’s dark, and oddly warm – no sun is up yet.
I have a fairly heavy bag over each shoulder and I’m carrying a box.
There’s no wiggle room - if I take a misstep I’ll be falling on my face, or my bum depending on which way the weight of the bags takes me.
I head past the amazingly green and lush planter boxes wondering what creatures may be awake at dawn??? [Mistake number 1]…
Down the super narrow stairway I go heading to the carpark.
It’s silent - there’s no one else up in the complex, and I’m super conscious of not waking anyone… tippy toe I go down into the basement.
And then 5 steps in, I catch a movement further down… probs about Step number 8.
My heart stops literally and I feel my breath catch in my throat… It's a spider.
[Clearly I’d manifested that by the silly thought only seconds earlier!!!!]
It’s not just any spider, it’s a huntsman.
Now you may be ok with spiders, but I have a deep seated trauma from a childhood memory.
Plus… I live in Australia – and there’s Funnel Webs and… well, lots of spiders… big ones!!!
If you’re one of those types that can look at them and think… “OMG how cute are they”, well chances are we may not be friends at this point – and probs definitely not if you like to hold them or let them crawl on you. 🤣
But I digress… just remember this is happening at lightning speed, I have not one second to spare before it sees me. And then it spots me.
I know it's just as frightened, well that’s what I’m telling myself… but what to do.
I cannot do an olympic size leap down another 2 stairs – or even speed up my pace.
So with momentum still forcing me down… the bags are swinging and my arms are near to breaking with the weight of the box… I gingerly take a step, and then another [Mistake number 2], and as I get to the same step as hairy 8 legs… it happened!!!!!

My biggest distractions this year so far...
- Cyclone Alfred: We may have lived through our first ever tropical cyclone (boy that was a tad scary)😱
- KOA - he's still alive and being a menace, and needs constant excercise and entertainment... but gosh he's cute.
- Podcasts. Whenever I have to do my 10hr trek back to Sydney (to see family), and it's more often than expected this year, I'll set up my "Travel University Playlist" and that's it... I'm immersed.
There's everything from conversations on Sales Tactics, Fasting, understanding how glucose and insulin works in our bodies, how the heart may not even be a pump, being a nomad capitalist (it's a thing apparently), self-ownership, the one word all liars use, terrain theory, AI and it's impact - both good and bad, and how to communicate with confidence!!! The list goes on.... plus, then I'll normally buy all the books haha. So many good ones!!! Wow, my brain is diverse... 🤣🤣
And get this... one of the people I was listening to, who's book I also purchased... ended up buying something from me!!! How's that for synchronicity - she's creating courses on Kajabi -- LOVE THAT.
